On August 19 Jason blessed our little Juliet Eden in our home ward here in PA. Juliet was a perfect fit in my old blessing dress which was nice considering how huge it had been on Adri at her blessing. We had a lot of family around to attend the blessing so we were hoping we would at least be to church a little early. As we left the house it didn't seem like we were going to be there on time let alone early, a very bad thing since baby blessings take place at the very beginning of church. To make things worse, we got stuck driving behind someone who was obviously not late for church. Jason is a very impatient driver and decided that he would cut a corner through a gas station and drive through a one way road (one way being not the way we were going) to get in front of our lethargic friend. My mom and my sister Catherine were in the car with us too and as we were about to go through the one way road Cat said, "As Keith would say, we're about to break the law but we all love each other." So I guess my brother was there in spirit. Thanks to Jason's driving skills we got to church a little early and everything went great with the blessing. Well, except that Uncle Jesse was sleeping and didn't even make it to church (that's okay since we missed a blessing for one of his girls), and Gramma K(Karen Slaugh) wasn't even able to find the church and just ended up taking a half hour tour of Pennsylvania. They were missed but we hope they'll make it to the next baby blessing (don't worry, that one won't be for a while).

I'm so glad to have been there for the big event. It will always be a treasured memory.
Congratulations on learning how to flip the photo! Oh, and congratulations on the baby blessing, of course! Were you able to record it at all?
